How To Prevent Credit Card Late Payments

Pay on time or early, late payments will cost you money in interest charges and late fees and can lose you the benefit of lower interest rates. It will also reflect poorly on your credit report.

Payment by mail

Make sure to allow a week for mailing so that your payments arrive on time. It is the arrival or posting date not the postmark that counts.
